About the ISCRA Asia

The International Congress on Cartilage Repair of the Ankle (ICCRA) was organized by the AFAS (Ankle & Foot Associates) section of ESSKA in collaboration with Hospital for Special Surgery in Dublin, Ireland on March 9-10, 2012. The congress was chaired by John G. Kennedy, C. Niek van Dijk and Richard D. Ferkel. This comprehensive and intense two-day congress provided the faculty and participants from 37 different countries with the most up-to-date treatment guideline for everyday practice. It was for this reason and based on the success of ICCRA that John G. Kennedy, Jin Woo Lee and Masato Takao have agreed to extend this to a regional biannual meeting in Asia, known as the International Symposium on Cartilage Repair of the Ankle (ISCRA) Asia.

The first iteration of ISCRA-Asia has been organized and will be held in Tokyo, Japan on August 2, 2013. ISCRA-Asia 2013 will consist of lectures and discussion on specific topics within cartilage repair surgery of the ankle, as well as interesting and related topics from special guest speakers. Interesting case discussions and a presentation of the current concepts will be performed, such that the participation of delegates is encouraged throughout the symposium. We promise to provide you with the most up-to-date research and treatment guidelines for cartilage repair of the ankle.

You are invited to participate in this exciting symposium and look forward to welcoming you to Tokyo in 2013.

Best wishes,
